We found that the portions were generous for the price point and all 6 of us enjoyed our meal for just under $50 which included two sodas, two beef and bean burritos (one entree), taquitos (app menu), a small guacamole, and fried ice cream (large with whipped cream, strawberry compote, and chocolate sauce).

The staff at Dos Potrillos was friendly throughout our visit. They were able to accommodate my unique diet (combination of vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian) nicely without any issues or delays in service.

They also have amazing tableside guacamole that comes highly recommended!

Overall we had a great experience at Dos Potrillos – the food was delicious, service was friendly, portions were generous, prices were fair – what more could you ask for?

The Chili relleno was crispy and the green chili was very good! They also have healthy options available such as burrito bowls with black beans and chicken along with their delicious salsa that has a slightly smoky flavor making it even more enjoyable.

Vegetarians and vegans will find plenty of options here too – including chili Colorado which is both tender and flavorful – as well as gluten free dishes upon request. The house-made guacamole was some of the best we’ve had and came with quesadillas filled with mushrooms and Monterey Jack cheese.

Other excellent menu items include crispy chimichangas served with delicious sauces on the side, enchiladas plates (carnitas & cheese), pozole verde, shrimp dishes, carnitas enchiladas as well as margaritas that are reasonably priced at $8 each!

Overall our experience at Palenque Cocina Y Agaveria was positive; we would definitely recommend it for its tasty food served in a comfortable setting!
