The atmosphere was great and the service was incredibly fast even on Sunday lunch rush. We got 1/2 ribs + pulled pork and brisket dish separately, all well prepared and promptly served in huge portions.
The pulled pork was amazing, as were the ribs, very tender with delicious baked beans. We also had fried fish and blacked pork loin; both cooked perfectly but the pork loin was a bit dry. For sandwiches, we had the sloppy pig which melted in our mouths with robust cheddar cheese inside a soft but sturdy bun. All in all, this place is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy good BBQ and service!

It’s a little pricier than other restaurants in the area but worth every penny for its delicious food and wonderful atmosphere inside an old auto shop which can be seen from outside too!

The wait staff was highly competent, attentive and provided seriously the best service. Food came out super fast with perfectly balanced flavors across the board. We had the pork tenderloin sandwich (Midwest specialty), Rueben sandwich, pulled pork, fish tacos, fish n chips – no complaints all around!
Portions were big yet reasonably priced. For appetizers we had shrimp which was really flavorful and Iowa State Fair pork sandwich that was particularly impressive!
