1. Edelweiss Restaurant
Dining at Edelweiss Restaurant is an unforgettable experience. Located in a rustic Bavarian beer garden & eatery, it offers classic German dishes with folk music in the background.
The atmosphere achieved amongst all facets of this fine dining establishment is amazing. The menu is varied and so, there's more reason to go back.
The food here is top-notch and cooked to perfection. Their schnitzel was so soft and the gravy mouthwatering even the vegetables were great. We started with the sample plate which had a variety of sauerkraut balls, brauts, smoked salmon, prosciutto melon, and more with 4 different sauces on top of that.
The portions are generous and taste delish. The noodles on the side were an unexpected stand out as well as their fresh bread served along with a side salad for each dish. For our main entree, we had steak which my companion thought could have been a tad crisper (the sauce on top could have added to that).
For dessert, we opted for something sweet like their famous apple strudel which was simply heavenly! Service was friendly and attentive although it may be slow during rush hour due to its popularity among locals and tourists alike but hey – it's worth waiting for!
Prices are quite reasonable too considering you get such quality food here so it's practically eating-free!
