The atmosphere and ambiance are wonderful, with colorful space for Mexican eats & drinks. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the staff was quick to seat us and get our Togo order in.
The food is all plated well and esthetically pleasing, with high quality ingredients used throughout the menu. Their entrees are well seasoned and delicious, with mole, chiptole cream and chili verde sauces making the menu extremely versatile.
We had shrimp tacos which were grilled perfectly and filled up nicely, plus a salsa flight that was full of flavor. The portions are large so you definitely get your money's worth here! Prices seem pretty reasonable too.
Overall we had a great experience at Cocina Y Cantina Adelitas! Service was a little slow to start but overall ok, half star off for what I felt were overly pureed beans but otherwise delicious food!
Highly recommend checking out their Happy Hour or weekend brunch if you're in the area – good atmosphere for lunch or dinner as well!

The portion sizes were generous and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The food was fresh and very flavorful. They have a great selection of appetizers as well as a variety of options on their menu, including Chile relleno and Mexico City tacos.
The service was fast and efficient, with staff being friendly and attentive. Our server provided us with great vegetarian options which we appreciated.
The atmosphere is cozy yet high end with not one server or person just standing around the dinning area that wasn't maintained.
The prices are good for the quality of food you get; however, they can be a bit expensive but it's worth it in the end due to its deliciousness!
All in all, La Loma provides an excellent experience with amazing food served by friendly staff in an inviting atmosphere at reasonable prices – it's definitely worth checking out!
4. El Camino Community Tavern

The staff are friendly and efficient – we always get seated quickly even when they're seemingly slammed by dinner rush. Service is typically really good too; our server was attentive throughout our meal despite how busy it was at this popular spot!
The only drawback is that portion sizes can be a little small for the price but overall, North County offers an excellent dining experience.

The fried shrimp were especially delicious with their crispy pan-fried shells and flavorful dipping sauce. The oysters were fresh and succulent, while the shrimp tacos had plenty of filling to satisfy any appetite.
For those looking for something special, the bacon wrapped shrimp & jalapenos was a great choice – both flavorful and filling!
The bathrooms were also very clean at Mr. Peralta Mariscos which is always a plus! Service was slow but when the food came out it was amazing so it could have been for the best!
This charming little hole-in-the-wall restaurant has earned itself a lifetime customer in me – I can't wait to return with family and friends to experience its deliciousness once again!

Walking into La Grande Mexicana, you can expect to be greeted immediately and welcomed to the restaurant. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, but if delicious, quality Mexican food is what you're after, this hits the spot!
This family owned restaurant offers traditional Mexican food in a mom and pop shop. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food that you get. There are six different salsas to keep it interesting and the service staff is always prompt and polite.
The shrimp tacos here are amazing, as well as their adobada tacos. They have great sized portions and delicious food with meat that is well seasoned and cooked perfectly.
You can also order nachos, street tacos, chorizo/huevos or even oysters on the half shell! Their Agua de Jamaica is made fresh every time so be sure to try it out when you come in.
The place itself is always clean and comfortable with a welcoming environment that has great tasting food that will definitely make you come back for more!
Have some patience as the food is prepared fresh but it's worth it – they have some of the best camarones a la diabla I've ever had! With fast service, affordable prices, great parking options and consistently good quality each time – La Grande Mexicana has something for everyone!
