Prices were typical for Denver sushi places but still expensive compared to other high-end sushi spots in Chicago or New York. The service was good but not quite up to the same level as the food.

Vegetarians will love this place too with their delicious vegetarian sushi rolls and creative vegan options that come out fast thanks to the efficient staff. We had great recommendations from our server Josh and he kept our sake flowing while we dined.

All in all, it's worth the extra cost over Sushi Den next door given its upper-scale setting and fantastic atmosphere – especially when sitting upstairs on a warm day with the roof opened up!

Prices are also reasonable – for example, a cal roll was 3.75, spicy tuna was 3.75 and Splash was 6.25. Everything about this restaurant is amazing from the cozy dining area to the soft shell crab sushi roll that's always fresh!

The atmosphere at Kokoro is incredibly inviting with old-school diner-type seating and an eclectic mix of devoted customers of all ages, professions and backgrounds.

The menu selection is good too with teriyaki dishes as well as noodle dishes and sushi available for purchase. And don't forget the delicious apps like shumai, gyoza, seaweed salad or kure age (fried chicken with sauce) that can be purchased at low prices!

They have an average menu selection to choose from but you can tell they put a lot of thought into every detail like their high-quality environment finish with custom work, as well as their dining ware that leaves out that “in-your-face” design tendency.

The smoked salmon dish was cooked to perfection and seemed to melt in your mouth. Service was prompt at first but slowed down through round 2, however, overall it was still a great experience.

Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of food served here so you can definitely get your money’s worth at Rocky Yama!
