The award-winning PB&J session mead is one of the standout favorites here, as well as the Direct Currant which has a pleasant mix of tart and sweet.

2. The Sweet Elephant
Called ahead to make sure they offer wine tastings and The Sweet Elephant did not disappoint. Their selection of Colorado wines was great and the atmosphere was inviting.
They had different choices of bread with vinaigrette and the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The Flamenco Red and Sweet Endings wines were slightly above my average price range for wine, but worth it for their deliciousness.
The tasting experience at The Sweet Elephant was top-notch. They offered five complimentary tastings, allowing patrons to choose which one to purchase in either a glass or full bottle form.
Accompanying the tastings were an assortment of salted nuts, mixed meats, toasted bread, pickled vegetables, and palate cleansers – all homemade – that added a pleasant touch to the tasting experience.
The customer service at The Sweet Elephant is also worth mentioning as it went above and beyond expectations.
The owner asked us to taste some of their wines when we couldn't find what we were looking for initially, the staff members were friendly and they provided an inviting atmosphere with cozy decor perfect for hosting events or just relaxing with friends.
Overall, The Sweet Elephant is an excellent spot for wine lovers who appreciate creative flavors in a chill atmosphere – not to mention lovely vibes thanks to its friendly staff!
